About this workshop

Lésouta Luc Bambara has been sharing his culture and his passion for drumming and dancing in schools throughout Québec for over a decade. In this workshop Luc will give participants a taste of culture from Burkina Faso, through a fun and energetic introduction to traditional African drumming and dancing.

MATERIALS PROVIDED:
-Djembes (approx. 30)

This workshop can take place either in a classroom or outdoors (weather permitting). After choosing their drum, Luc will teach participants basic drumming techniques, teaching them to collaborate in drumming and singing together.
